He is the final prophet who Allah sent to guide humanity. In addition, his life and teachings have profoundly influenced the course of history, shaping the spiritual and social framework of the Islamic world.
He was born in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, into the Quraysh tribe, one of the most respected families in Mecca.
He was born on the 12th day of Rabi’ al-Awwal in the Islamic calendar. This date corresponds to 22nd April, 570 CE.
During his birth and childhood several remarkable events happened, his mother, Amina, experienced a vision of a bright light that illuminated the entire world during her giving birth of Mohammed.
His father name was Abdullah, and his mother was Amina bint Wahb. Tragically, Muhammad’s father died before his birth. The Prophet’s early years were marked by hardship; he was an orphan, and at the same time his mother passed away when he was just six years old. Subsequently, his grandfather, Abdul Muttalib, took guardianship of him, followed by his uncle, Abu Talib, after Abdul Muttalib’s death.
While growing up, Muhammad was known for his honesty and integrity, earning him the title of “Al-Amin” or “the trustworthy.”
He lived for 63 years, passing away on June 8, 632 CE. His death marked the end of his earthly life, but his legacy continued through his teachings and the Qur’an.
