The number of people who convert to Islam is increasing all over the world. When some of them are asked about the reason for their conversion to Islam, their answers are as follows:
The Islamic religion is characterized by the fact that God rules alone and that God has no partner, and He has no equal. Allah says in Surat Al-Ikhlas: (1)Say, “He is Allāh, [who is] (2)One, Allāh, the Eternal Refuge (3)He neither begets nor is born, (4)Nor is there to Him any equivalent.”
If we compare Quraan with other religion books, we will find that Quraan is real and true book not distorted and not written by human. So Muslim trusts the Holy Quran as it is the book of God.
The Muslim realizes that God created him in order to worship Him Almighty, fulfill His commands, and avoid His prohibitions, and that is the first priority in the life. God subjected the universe to the human and made him a successor so that he could get benefit from God’s creation and populate the universe and that is the second priority.
Islam imposed five prayers and made the call to prayer (Adhan) to remind a person to perform prayer, which is a connection and closeness to God. It is also logical to make ablution and purification a necessity before meeting God and performing prayer.
Islam pays attention to the health of the body through healthy food represented by dates and drinking milk. He also forbade eating anything harmful to the body, such as pork, eating dead animal meat, or drinking alcohol, and it is mentioned in the Quran: “Forbidden to you (for food) are: Al-Maytatah (the dead animals – cattle-beast not slaughtered), blood, the flesh of swine,”. In addition, Muslims act walking during performance of worship, such as circumambulating of the Kaaba and going to the mosque by walking. Fasting of Ramadan also makes the body healthier through getting rid of poisons and high level of sugar and fat, as a result it strengthens immunity.
Lot of people who have converted to Islam noticed that Muslims are generous in hospitality. It is not weird because Prophet Mohammed asked Muslims to be like that “whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, should entertain his guest generously.”
Islam achieved justice in inheritance and gave women an inheritance although it was not in the past before Islam. It makes the man responsible for his family, and he has the duty of taking care of his wife, feeding her, clothing her, and treating her kindly. In addition to the duty of children to take care of their parents in old age and obey them in what pleases God. Denied discrimination because of colour is an evidence of Islam justice. Another example, to keep human rights is Mohamed saying:
“Whosoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should not harm his neighbor”
Unlike other some societies, Muslims do care about family; old parents, sons and daughters, brothers, and sisters, uncle and aunt, grandfather and grandmother. and if you are so busy, it does not mean that you should leave them for along time with no touch or even a call. Prophet Mohammed asked to keep good relation with relatives: “He who desires ample provisions and his life be prolonged, should maintain good ties with his blood relations.”
To guarantee the rights of the needy and poor people, Islam asked Muslim who has ability to give charity to whom who needs. Allah says “The obligatory charity shall be only for the poor and the needy, and for those who work to collect it, and to influence hearts (to belief), for ransoming captives, and debtors in the Way of Allah and the destitute traveler. It is an obligation from Allah. Allah is Knowing, Wise.” AL-Tawba (60)
Quran told many scientific information that was not known before and the scientist discovered after long time. For example, the Holy Qur’an in this Verse “Ye shall surely travel from stage to stage.” {Surah Al-Inshiqaq. Verse 19} Allah the Almighty assured that people are going to ascend and go into space, as we see the development of space exploration in the twenty century and the current century.. You can see this article The scientific miraculousness in the Quran. In addition, Quran had predicted many news and events before it happened. For example, Quran had predicted that Abu Lahab and his wife would be in the Hell although he lived long time after that news. You can see this article Qur’an has many aspects of the Hidden Inimitability
It is found that the Islamic religion is an integrated religion that is valid for every time and place. It is worth mentioning that Islam is ideal, but Muslim can’t be ideal.
